I love doing films with everyone involved so we thought of this idea one night at my friend's birthday gathering (the last one in the film). I gave everyone a partner and we scattered throughout the house. I just followed the roaming beer, and the great part was most of the time I didn't know where people were or what they were going to do. It was a fun on the fly video. Thank God for the beer/camera placement for the shower scene. Enjoy.
I wanted to do a live filming/recording of a musician performing unplugged. So I recorded and filmed my bud in downtown Fort Wayne, IN. I just used GarageBand on my computer and my Blue Yeti Mic for the recording. I then mixed the recording with the audio from the 5D Mark II I was filming with. It peaks a little, but like all these videos its a learning process. Here was my recording set up...
A dark comedy short coming from the mind of my friend Sam and a little from myself. I made it look like an old silent film using an old Miles Davis song "Jeru". I love the end scene most of all. Enjoy and don't do drugs.
Here is a music video I thought of one day while driving to this song. I pitched the idea to my buddy, Jordan (the actor) and he love it. So one day while up at his lake I packed my equipment and we shot it. Filmed it in about 7 hours, and he was great to work with. My friend Ryan was there to help assist direct. He drove the car/boat for the bike shots and gave me some great ideas for angles. So here it is, 5 days after filming.
Two friends showed up late to the grad party so they missed the green chair (earlier post). I told them, if they came up with an idea I would set it up and film. We came up with this little video. First little test with different views and angles of same shot.
The summer has started and I want this to be a productive video summer for me. After showing up to a graduation party I saw a wonderful green chair. I wanted to do something simple but with everyone involved. So we set up the shot with bunny, broom, and chair. I just asked everyone to walk in and sit. Turned out alright after I doubled the speed.
